The Beginning of My Personal Transformation

The journey I will be sharing with you began the day I proclaimed to the world (well, really to myself, as no one else was listening except God and me): "Today is the first day of the rest of my life." This new journey started five years after my second divorce when I finally decided to take back my surname. As I left the social security office with my new name (really my "old name"), a chapter of my 3D reality closed, and a new one opened. Like the Tarot Fool, I stepped into a 12-year journey.

Embarking on a Spiritual Journey

In 2012, the Year of the Dragon (specifically the Water Dragon), I embarked on this path. The Dragon, equivalent to Aries, symbolizes optimum expansion and growth, reinforcing foundations for future endeavors. The Water Dragon flows around obstacles, nourishes new beginnings, and fosters innovation and successful growth. This dragon energy, representing good fortune and intense power, became my guide. The year 2012's "uninhibited" energy was perfect for starting a new path as a free spirit.
For me, the past 12 years have been transformative. I no longer recognize the soul who stepped unknowingly into a world I will eventually refer to as OZ. Live, Love, Expand.

A Touch of Magic

Interestingly, I have always been drawn to dragons. I have a collection of dragons, including poker-playing dragons, and I cross-stitched a dragon in the mid-1990s. My love for magic and magicians has been with me since childhood.

A Turning Point: Health Challenges

Around the time I changed my name, I joined Rich Dad Real Estate School. Although the education played a minor role in my journey, it introduced me to significant people along the way.
Shortly after, my health began to decline. I gained weight rapidly and craved sugar, especially brown sugar. I even started drinking beer, which I disliked. This bizarre behavior included leaving my car running in the garage and failing to put it in park. My health issues culminated in a diagnosis of candida, a condition I had never heard of. For months, my condition worsened, and I felt dizzy all the time.

Overcoming Candida

The day the candida was no longer in control of my body was transformative. I woke up one September morning in 2013 with clear vision, a clear head, no dizziness, and no tunnel vision. This awakening made me realize how far I had strayed from "normal."
I will share the process of removing this overproduction of yeast in a future blog post.

The Early Years of My Spiritual Evolution

During the early years of my spiritual evolution: a.) I did not know I was on a spiritual awakening journey. b.) I started buying equipment that seemed odd but felt necessary. In hindsight, I believe I was being tested to see if I would listen to the universe's subtle guidance.
